Chaklader Mahboob-ul Alam

He married a Spanish woman in London and in 1970 came to Spain to work for Price Waterhouse (now PWC). In 1985, he obtained Spanish nationality.

He holds a degree in Political Science and Economics from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh and a Master's degree in North American Studies from the University of Alcalá de Henares. Over the past twenty-five years, he has dedicated his life to writing and publishing investigative and journalistic articles in Bangladesh, Spain and the USA. He has been a regular columnist for years in the prestigious Bangladeshi newspaper The Daily Star, in El País (English edition) and in El Adelantado de Segovia. He has been an Officer of the Order of Isabel la Católica since December 2010.
