M. Shahadat Hossain

Co-Founder and Executive Director

Mr. M. Shahadat Hossain is a founder member of Dnet and has served in the Governing Body since 2018. Following his appointment as the Executive Director, he has successfully brought significant changes and continuing to bring noticeable and consistent prosperity at Dnet. Prior to his current position, he was tasked with restructuring various enterprises of Dnet as the Chief Strategy Officer. He also has successfully carried out various tasks on behalf of the board. Mr. Hossain began his professional career in 1991. He has worked for international and public limited companies both in service industry and manufacturing industry as senior-level management. He is also a Marketing expert as a practitioner and as an academic, having taught marketing for over 14 years in North America. Mr. Hossain has taught at Sprott School of Business, Carleton University, Canada and SUNY Potsdam, NY, USA. Recipient of the Title III grant from the US Department of Education, his published research on service innovation has received the Outstanding Research Award from The Institute of Business and Finance Research, USA. With all these, Mr. Hossain is a business and marketing consultant and is also a founder of a marketing and IT company established in Canada and Bangladesh.
